When it comes to becoming more knowledgeable of a company’s operations, finances, and expectations, you can use many different online resources. With the various online resources you can access, it can also be very confusing, especially if you are new to the world of finance when it comes to publicly-traded companies. That is why I am here to share the following three resources to help simplify your stock market research for you:

1. Yahoo Finance

2. FINVIZ

3. TipRanks

1. Yahoo Finance

Yahoo Finance is a great resource for financial news, data, reports, and press releases. From relevant news reports on a company to a deep dive into its financials, your knowledge of a company will start to grow.

2. FINVIZ

FINVIZ is a great resource for financial news and screening for specific stocks based on criteria such as market cap, earnings-per-share growth, and stock performance. When looking at a company on FINVIZ, you get not only an overview of its financials, but also an overview of its stock price on a chart with some technical analysis.

3. TipRanks

TipRanks is a great resource for analyst consensus on where a company’s stock price will likely go in the next 12 months. It also provides rankings of financial analysts based on their historical performance.

The three resources I shared are only starting points. From these three, you can then move on to reading and watching analyst research reports and exploring a company’s investor relations website. In the comments, let me know what you think of Yahoo Finance, FINVIZ, and TipRanks. Also, feel free to share your favorite resources for starting research.
